Movex is a concept streaming platform for deep immersion into interactive cinematography, created in 2021. Standard streaming offers a fixed, passive viewing experience, so the goal was a platform with customizable features that make watching a movie unforgettable.

Viewers can make a custom movie out of ordinary films, changing actors, shooting style, music and more. The project was a finalist in the Mail.ru Cup.

Customization happens in two moments: before playback, for planning, and live while watching, for spontaneous interaction. Splitting it this way supports both kinds of viewers instead of forcing one static configuration step.

Beyond surface elements, viewers can affect the plot itself, making decisions or interacting with objects, characters and cameras, which sets Movex apart from simple watch-mode toggles.
